#101 Dark Beauty

Greetings from London everybody, how are you doing? I just brought one nail polish with me (Manhatten in some deep red shade, they don't have names), so I clandistinely took my flatmates Barry M Magnetic nail polish in Navy Blue and did some nail art with clear film, which is supposed to give you a lacey look........
Well yeah Michelle Phan, it doesn't really look like lace........
Maybe I just suck. Haha.

I'm actually still tired and hungover because last night we had a huge Lunar New Year's bash with so much food and alcohol hahahahahhaha.

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!!!!!!

(And I did my dishes and my nail polish just chipped right away!!!!)

#99 Union Jack

Folks, I have an announcement to make:
I'll be moving to GB for the next six months and don't plan to bring my nail polish with me. Maybe only one. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. It kinda bums me out, I don't wanna spend money on vanity when I'll be going for higher purposes....

#91 Clouds [?!?!?]

Ok, I did these nails in a hurry, that's why it's so sloppy and smeared.

Done with a red Nivea Flex & Strong polish, H&M in metallic grey
and a no name white polish from Vietnam.

(I painted these weird stripes/clouds/whatever with a toothpick, which was a horrible idea.)

#86 Little hearts

Crappy hearts done with paper stencils which was a shitty idea because the paper gets soaked and the edges smear.

The base is American Apparel in Palm Springs, but I wanted it to look a little bit lighter, so I painted some beyu No. 192 on top. Not sure if you can really tell the difference from the photos above and below.

this is supposed to look like a lighter beige/nude

In clockwise order:
beyu No. 192
American Apparel in Palm Springs
Max Factor in Cool Jade
China Glaze in Spontaneous
Catrice in Robert's Red Ford

#83 fifty shades of red

Just joking, it's just 4 shades of red.
I was too lazy to take a picture of the nail polishes.
I used:
A no name red,
Catrice Robert's Red Ford
a dark red Manhatten one (right hand pinky is well visible)
and the Sephora tint dye polish on some nails.

#81 Marlboro

The base is this glittery Catrice nail polish called Glitterazzi. These are 3 layers.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH dense glitter *heavy breathing*

The red polish is some no name polish.

#78 Bloody Mess

One thing about me:
I have a really weird addiction of watching youtube videos of horror games being played.
It's not only less scary, I also think it saves a lot of your time, not really being in that addictive mood to play video games all day long. (Except if you watch gaming videos all day long, which I always end up doing when procrastinating.)

Right now I'm watching the RPG 'Corpse Party', played by Cry, because pewdiepie is so lame. (Look up all the words that you don't understand from the latter sentence xD.)

Corpse Party is a very gory japanese survival horror game in Anime style, but I don't want to go into details here.

I just painted my nails in this American Apparel polish called 'American Denim' and thought it was too boring looking.
So I chose this Nivea red polish to do some ombre tips, which ended up looking really bloody.

I also tried to put some of that runny Sephora tint/tie dye stuff on top to make the baby blue look a little bit darker and more serious, but it smeared the red colour all over and made such a big mess!!!
That's why my left thumb looks especially bloody.

So, how do you like my gory nails? ;)

#76 Modern Art/Rothko

I'm a little bit ashamed to come back with such a crappy nail design, so I put an artist name into the heading to make this seem all fancy and artsy and shit. Please be fooled by that. Oh, you don't know Rothko? That's the name of a guy from the book 'Twelve' by Nick McDonell.

I wanted to do was inspired by this picture from an editorial from a magazine called Glass magazine (June 2013 I think)

These polishes are suuuuper old! I think I got the red Nivea one about 5 years as a birthday present, and the blue one from H&M about 3 years ago or so. The latter is really viscid by now and doesn't dry so well anymore (because the layer is too thick I assume). The red one is still working surprisingly well!

#54 BALL SO HARD

Doesn't this remind you of a strawberry?

I did them with:

American Apparel in Rouge
and these Microbeads that every fancy nail polish chick owns, f.e. my sister :,p

And then it was my birthday and I balled so hard that they looked like this afterward:
Duuuuuuuuuuude

#50 Uchiha

Ok, first of all, I actually didn't want to do Naruto-inspired nails. But it slightly reminds me of the Uchiha fan, don't you think so?

In fact, I saw the movie 'Bachelorette' and thought Lizzy Caplan's nails looked great.

Her red is darker, though.

I used:
essie in Marshmellow
&
American Apparel in Rouge

I did the half moons free-handedly, without annoying sticky tape. Doesn't look perfect, but whatever.

#39 Christmas Spirit

My cute friend Maddy just sent me this!
She's in China right now (just like my sister, why the hell is everybody in China :-D) and told me she became halfway a Chinese person by now xD
The nails are so cute, I'm starting to feel the Christmas Spirit, although I'm not planning on doing many Christmas-themed nails on this blog.

#37 Romance Dawn

Using OPI in Bastille my Heart underneath...

...and using following clear glitter topcoats:

The left one was a present from a dear friend who brought me this on her vacation in Korea. It's from Nature Republic, but there is no label at all on it. The right one is from The Face Shop, the colour's name is

(Btw, I love how Korean Make Up Brands put so much effort into packaging. Everything looks so lovely!)

I said earlier that the yellow nails in #36 would be the base for some nail art.
I tested the two blue glitter ones with the Chanel (which is not supposed to be the nail art I planned to do but anyways):

As you can see, the blue glitter is merely visible, not to mention the blue colour. What a fail.

It's showing on the red OPI polish though:
Left is the Nature Republic polish, right the Face Shop one. The first has much more glitter particles.

Close-up on the left hand:

Right hand is not that glittery:

What a mess...

#30 REDRUM

That awesome tooth paste colour!!!!!
Camping in the woods, everybody, but nails still gotta look fabulous!!!
I'm just kidding, I was on my balcony to brush my teeth closer to the nature hahaha.

Done with Nivea Nail Polish in Cardinal.

Whoever can guess the title of the book underneath the nail polish wins a nail polish that I own twice!
Good luck!

#20 Hype

Testing out the trend that makes your nails feel like emery paper. When my sister first came to me, she said <Touch it! Touch it!> but I felt so repulsive to that. I still don't understand how people could come up with this trend, it just seems so bizarre to me. It kinda feels funny, for sure. You can surely file your nails of the other hand in case you don't have a nail file around xD

KIKO Sugar Mat in True Red.
Such an obsolete hype.

-------------------------------------------

You should rather hype this, or just look at it, because it doesn't matter if you don't understand the language. The message should be pretty clear

Peace out.
